ICANN (The Internet Corporation For Assigned Names and Numbers) is asking for Public Comment, soliciting information, advice and proposed models as it considers soliciting expressions of interest in new gTLDs.

In April 2009, BRS Media announced plans to secure, operate and market the .Radio TLD. dotRadio will be positioned as the New Multimedia Domain for the On Air and Online Community. The plan to launch ".Radio" follows ICANN's (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) decision to expand the domain space beyond the standard .com, .net, and .org. Being called the "Biggest Domain Name Expansion" in the history of the Internet, the move is expected to open the top level domain space to an unlimited number of extensions.
